42yr male just got diagnosed sacrcoma august 2024 :(

My father passed on June 22nd, 2024 due to leiomyosarcoma of spermatic cord origin that spread to his lungs and killed him. It took a year and half for this quick recurrence to spread into his lymphatic system and into his lungs causing his life. I pray one day this illness gets a cure before it takes away more precious lives. ❤✨️ ❤

My mother passed away in 1969 aged 39 with Leiomysarcoma. Very rare then. I was 10. She suffered terribly with heavy periods and Fibroids 💔

My son’s best friend had high grade. They did not remove his as they said it was in his lymphatic system already. He was 19. He completed chemo and radiation but no improvement. He now has a few more months. Such a tragedy and more research needed.

Can I ask I got injured a while back , I was left with a what the dr said was a hematoma but it has got bigger over the yrs , I’ve now have severe pain in my knee Do you think it could it be Saroma ?

I've been begging for an mri for a very, very long time. I have pain everywhere in my body. It took me having a visible lump on my leg to finally convince my doctor to give me a referral to someone else. They did x-ray, but it only showed arthritis and bone spurs. They finally did an mri and found a 5 cm mass in my leg. I now have to go see another specialist because that one doesn't deal with synovial sarcoma or anything like that. I've been tossed like a football from doctor to doctor. I will finally see the orthopedic oncologist this week. It only took 3 months to get in to see him. I've been complaining for years about the pain.

My classmate had a tumor in her elbow that was "benign." She had shoulder disarticulation for synovisl sarcoma. She died. That benign elbow tumor was synovial sarcoma.

Hello, if there what's a patient that had a blood clot wrapped around his funeral artery in the leg of the synovial soft tissue Mass in the right leg, how would you go about treatment of that and would you do more than one biopsy or send the patient to multiple hospitals to get biopsies done on this mass or would you have certain training specialist and multidisciplinary team in communication with each other and the patient about what would be best for the patient? Would you have a research hospital be doing the procedure on removal of the mass or would you have a more advanced team?

Went to the doctor last summer 23 with lump on the back of thigh, said it was lipoma. Went bk to doctor (different doc, because i moved) went to doctor on Wednesday this week (may 2024), she felt it and it was sore when she was pressing on it, then she measured it and it is 11cm long by 8cm width. Now am waiting to see specialist, am in the UK.

Some of your comments are so rude. This is a young 23 yr old gal who felt like she was well and healthy like many young people feel. This is her story to help others in similar situations. If you didnt like her story you should have quit listening. A lot of people do get cancer younger - my great niece suffered with cancer from 2 yrs old to 11 yrs old when she past. My niece died of breSt cancer age 69 and my daughter age 61 has been battling breast and lung cancer. suffered

my friend get ewing sarcoma at age 12 and died age 16.😢

I was just diagnosed with ewing sarcoma in January. It was encapsulated in my kidney so it was removed the end of December. Pathology revealed it was ES 4 weeks later. Praise The Lord that the CT scans and PET scans show no signs of it anywhere else but I will still start chemo treatment in a few weeks. I’m thankful for encouraging survivor stories like yourself! I go in for an ultrasound on top of right thigh for a mass. Its painful and has gotten bigger. Im scared!!

My husband's tumor weighed 8kg when removed... liposarcoma not diagnosed in time so it grew and grew. Still fighting against this disease today, scared to death and really frustrated that doctors couldn't diagnosed him before.

My wife died of intra abdominal spindle cell sarcoma at the age of 50. She had excessive bleeding during periods but doctors said it was normal as she was approaching menopause. It was during the covid lockdown time. In Jan 22 she complained of pain in the stomach. By the time it was diagnosed as intra abdominal spindle cell sarcoma the tumors grew very big. There were 3 big tumors occupying the entire abdominal and pelvic cavity. She underwent emergency debulking surgery. After 4 cycles of epirubicin and 1 course of sorafenib her condition worsened and died.

Does sarcoma tumors have a name...i have huge sarcoma in my abdome muscle wall.had a biopsy two weeks result..but dr. Still dont know what is the name.more test or biopsy..to be expesifict...still waiting on how my surgery is going to be done...so all sarcomas are strange cancers??? Dr.

Wife had lump growing in Palm of hand. First surgery to remove, biopsy came as malignant fibrous histiosarcoma. Needed to have two fingers and part of hand removed. Considered stage 3. Thank God, it's been 23 years ago.

I was diagnosed at age 27 and 38 weeks pregnant with leiomyosarcoma with metastasis to bladder. I am here to tell you there is hope I just reached my 39th birthday and my son who I was pregnant with hit 12 still healthy as ever. It has been a hard journey but rewarding. I have had 25 surgeries. A lot more so from radiation damage, but I need Ed radiation because chemo wouldn’t work on the type of cell mine was. I never have had reoccurrence. I went to Duke cancer center and was first patient to have the capri for high dose radiation. Stay strong have faith and don’t give up the fight.

What a beautiful family you have. You gave so much to a little boy that needed to be loved. I can’t begin to imagine what he gave you in return.

Do you have any information from people who have survived a sarcoma in the retropenial (pelvic) area? My husband has a sarcoma that has surrounded the ureter tube from his kidney to his bladder. It also has surrounded the illeac veins that run from your legs to your aorta vein to your heart. Therefore, the surgeon was only able to remove 1/2 of the football size mass they found in his body. Is there any information out there about a lypo sarcoma in this type of area of the body?

Hey my name is Dale I’m a father of 4 boys and one girl my daughter has stage 4 synovial sercoma she is 17 we found out about 4 months ago right now her first mri showed some response with two chemos and possibly a few more radiations doctor is going to do sbrt radiation with any left over tumors in lungs and hopefully surgery I guess that’s our ultimate hope and that’s the plan however you probably no cancer isn’t the same in two people so I guess gods plan will work itself out but really enjoyed story
